Ice running at the pilings
This is a good example of the size of the ice chunks that were running here earlier.
The ice started moving here at about 5:30 this morning. So far the water level has been up to around 121 feet or so. When the ice started moving there were reports that three moose were crossing the river and got trapped on the ice. Not an unusual occurrence here. So far we have only had flooding on a couple of the roads but this could change quickly.
