Today was supposed to be move in day for Jacob at his new apartment. We got to the building when the office opened and got his keys. He contacted the movers about getting his household goods delivered and the problems started. It seems that the company that was supposed to ship his furniture and household goods had made a mistake. A container with his name on it was in Portland but the contents belonged to someone else. A few phone calls later and it was determined that his stuff was still in College Station, Texas. By that time it was too late to work out how things were going to be shipped up here so we took our luggage and moved into yet another hotel. We will find out tomorrow how long it will take to get his things up here but unless they use an airplane it wont be until after I fly back to Alaska. On the bright side it appears that some of the classes he will be teaching will be directly across the street from his apartment.
