I took advantage of the weather and went up to the Yuki River to look around a bit today. It is about an hour and a half boat ride from Galena in my boat to get to the mouth of the river. The water was high so I was able to go quite a fair distance up the Yuki. I spotted this hawk, (I think it was a hawk) and took a few photographs. This may be a rough legged hawk. If anyone knows exactly what kind of bird this is please let me know.
