Yukon river running ice free
New Town Galena
All the ice is gone from the Yukon here in Galena. The first barge hasn’t arrived yet but I don’t think it will be too far away. There is still a lot of driftwood in the river so I am going to hold off putting the boat in for a few days. I still need to change the oil before I take it out. The road to our dump has washed out again and the new road isn’t completed so we will have to hold our trash for a while. Hopefully they will get something figured out soon.
I’m glad that there was not a flood this year.
