The 2014 Iditarod finally made it in to Galena. I missed the first few teams as they came in pretty early. The weather is nice, not too cold and very little wind. We were told the first teams probably wouldn’t make it in until late Friday but I think the first one came in early Friday morning. Lynn is busy baking cookies for the checkpoint. I may go down there once or twice more this weekend to get some pictures.
