The temperature had been around -42℉ for most of the day, then Lynn tried to use the stove and it wouldn’t light. I checked the weather and found that we had finally got down below -44℉. The boiling point of propane is -44.1℉ so propane appliances don’t work below this temp. It should get a little warmer tomorrow so we can use the stove and dryer. In the mean time we will be cooking in the microwave. Not an unusual occurrence here. We usually get a week or so where the temp stays this low.
