The weather here has been interesting the last couple of weeks. It would warm up to unseasonably high temperatures, (30 to 40F) rain and then cool off and freeze up. This was coupled with extremely high winds for this part of the state. We had gusts of over 54 mph reported at the airport and some buildings in town were damaged by wind and falling trees. Things seemed to have settled into a more normal pattern now. It is around 0 or slightly above now. We have a little snow on the ground but not enough to run a snow machine on yet. It may cool off to -20 or so the next couple of days so it is about time to get the thermals and heavy boots out. Hopefully we will get enough snow to put some hours on the new snow machine. I’ll try and get some pictures on the blog in the next couple of days.
